Listening – synopsis

The listening module includes 10 videos which provide a step-by-step guide to the IELTS listening test, including general strategy, essential skills and detailed explanations of every question type.

If you thoroughly learn the techniques shown to you in these lessons you will be able to get almost all of the answers correct for each part of the listening test, every time.

Course methodology

The teaching videos give you all of the essential skills necessary for success, as well as a detailed step-by-step guide for each question type for all four sections  in the reading test. This includes the following:

  • A general guide to best performance in the IELTS listening test
  • Essential skills for success and how to apply these to various question types
  • Detailed strategy for each and every question type for all parts of the test
  • Examples of each question type and a step-by-step guide to implementing these strategies to find the correct answer every time
  • Advice on the questions to expect for each part of the test
  • Answer videos which guide you through the practice exercises and show how to find each answer (you should watch these after completing the exercises)
