Course overview:  Vocabulary and grammar needed to talk about shopping including describing different products, shops, staff and the shopping experience; sample conversations and typical grammar are also included.
 
Aims & objectives:  to understand and use familiar language for talking about shopping; describe different kinds of products, shops and the people who work in them, in detail and for a range of different contexts; and confidently interact with other English users in conversation.
 
Suitable for: school pupils from Y5+ / grade 4 +/ age 8+; university students and adults wanting to improve English skills.
 

Possible benefits:  generally: widen your range of vocabulary; improve your standard of English when talking about the topic, so that your conversation is clearer, more fluent and more colourful; understanding and comprehension of written English (when reading) and spoken English (listening)

for students: improves written and spoken assessments, especially in use of descriptive and explanatory language; aids reading comprehension etc. in relation to the topic.
